Rozhan is a permanent large-scale mural created for the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM).
The work marks the first realization of Creating Neighbourhood, a project supported by Dossier Internationales. Developed through a series of workshops and conversations with asylum seekers at the Federal Asylum Center (BAZ), the mural draws on the participants' memories, experiences, and places of origin.
The resulting composition presents an imagined landscape in which plants and mountain ranges from different countries merge into a single shared environment. By bringing together diverse geographical references, the mural reflects themes of displacement, belonging, and collective imagination.
Permanently integrated into the architecture of the Federal Asylum Center, Rozhan is situated on a terrace conceived as a communal gathering space, where it functions as both a landmark and a setting for encounter.
